Over the last two Sundays, six of our Young Radical Unitarian Universalists (YRUU) members built 20 Corsi-Rosenthal Boxes. As UUCUC begins its journey to secure a settled minister, the Board of Trustees seeks to ensure that broad input and guidance are received to help inform future thinking and decision making. To this end, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am pleased to extend an invitation to a virtual Listening Session so that we can hear your thinking surrounding our next steps as we begin our journey toward identifying our next settled lead minister.

family can sign up to attend in-person, with the understanding that there will be some cords and cameras cluttering up the view, some pre-recorded online elements you’ll miss out on, and some overall tangles still being worked out.
As we prepare to enter our third year in a pandemic, the Board of Trustees has asked the Finance Committee to help us reassess our FY 21-22 income forecast and prepare for unprecedented challenges. We celebrate that our congregation remains financially committed, with many congregants giving more than they gave last year. Unfortunately, we are not immune to the obstacles that all churches are facing. Our pledges and donations have come in under the rate we planned last spring. As a result, the Finance Committee projects that we will not receive the full amount of income reflected in this year’s operating budget. Currently we are forecasting a budget shortfall of approximately $45,000.
As we come into this season of generosity and renewal it is only fitting that we take time out together and take a fresh look at our lives. Individually and as a congregation.
Help us celebrate the flourishing of the church this spring by taking part in this event at 7pm Sunday February 13. We have a terrific line-up of performers. You won’t want to miss it!
