  • Security Camera Policy at UUCUC December 21, 2022 - During 2022, staff saw a significant increase in people camping out, loitering, littering, and storing materials under the northside and southside overhangs of the church building. With these occurrences, several staff members and congregants have noted concerns about safety.
  • Accessibility Study Report Available August 1, 2022 - At the recommendation of the Church Facilities Taskforce (aka Accessibility Taskforce), the Board of Trustees commissioned Reifsteck Reid and Company to complete a study for the costs related to making our church home accessible
  • Volunteers Needed for Moving Furniture at the Church July 21, 2021 - The Director of Facilities, Tim Voelker, is requesting a handful of hardy volunteers to assist with moving some furniture around the church! If you've got a strong back (and maybe a lumbar belt), Tim would love your help moving office furniture, some couches, and removing some things from the building.
  • New Room Reservation Form Rollout July 1, 2021 - The Director of Congregational Administration has developed and distributed a new room reservation form as the church begins to reopen.
  • May’s Garden Party Recap May 5, 2021 - May Day, May Day! We didn't have a dance around a May Pole, but we did get a LOT of work done at our gardening work 'party’ on Saturday, May 1st.
  • High Street House Demolition Completed October 28, 2020 - After a long wait, the rental property at 310 W. High Street has finally been demolished. Thanks to the following for their support of this difficult undertaking:
  • New Keys for the Church February 12, 2020 - On February 22nd our Church will be undergoing a rekeying of both inside and outside doors in the entire building.
  • Coming Soon – MCORE Project Scheduled for March 2020 February 12, 2020 - We wanted everyone to be aware that the City of Urbana has met with us to discuss this project which will complete the continued renovation of Green Street.
  • Friendly Reminders and New Information About UUCUC’s New Entry System October 30, 2019 - As a follow-up to the implementation of the new entry system last week at UUCUC, we wanted to share some friendly reminders and additional information.
  • New Entry System at UUCUC Using Access Codes Installed By October 27 October 22, 2019 - As you may have heard, our new entry system will go live by Sunday, October 27. FOBs will no longer work and visitors and members outside of normal business hours will use a unique numerical code to gain access to the building, using either the North or South side doors.
