Illinois is a relative beacon for reproductive rights, honoring abortion rights, early childhood education, LGBTQ rights, and other basic rights far more than the states around us.

Anti-abortionists hate that. They want to shut down abortion rights in Illinois and hence throughout the Midwest, busing in anti-abortion zealots from around the region to our state capital, Springfield, for a demonstration on Tuesday, March 21.

We must counter their demonstration with our “PRO-abortion rights” and “pro-full reproductive rights” messages! This struggle is not only important for preserving our rights throughout Illinois, but for sending a message of solidarity to reproductive rights defenders in the states around us and beyond!

We invite you to join us in sending this important message! We will gather at 11 am on Tuesday, March 21, at the state capitol, corner of E. Monroe and S. 2nd Streets in Springfield.

Please make arrangements ASAP to take off of work and/or school that day!

Together we CAN defend and expand our rights!

Out of respect for the health needs of your fellow passengers, participants are requested to wear masks during travel to and from the event.
