From Claudia and David Gross
We have attended Sunday services in Key West maybe two dozen times. The fellowship owns a lovely little building that once was a corner grocery store. Their have a fun history – founded on a sailboat by three individuals, rented space and moved several times, grew to 40 or 50 members when they called a full time minister who grew them to 90 members, but today, back to lay led and they had only 26 members in attendance when we were there on Dec 22. Ministers do make a difference! The UU Fellowship of Key West is not officially a UUA Welcoming Congregation because “in Key West that status is assumed for all public institutions.”
When traveling, it is easy to find a UU church or fellowship. At www.uua.org there is an easy to use search function to find the nearest UU congregation and these days all UU congregations have a web site with details of times and location.
