Yes, we’re “rolling out” our new name badge kiosk – both literally and figuratively.

Thanks to the handiwork of Herb Heistand, and with the able assistance of Tom McDermott, a new name badge kiosk will soon appear in the foyer.

The Accessibility and the Membership Committees have heard your concerns about the safety issue of storing our name badges on the stair where there’s danger of someone losing their balance and taking a tumble. As these committees began searching for remedy to this potential danger, they soon realized that there was no free wall space available so a free-standing portable kiosk was designed and built utilizing and repurposing some of the remaining walnut from the tree that was removed from the church grounds.

The Accessibility and the Membership Committees hope you enjoy your new kiosk and that you appreciate the research and effort that went into creating it for your convenience and safety.
