Experience the beauty and power of the Universal Celebration of Inayat Khan, who brought Sufism to the West in 1910. Sufi cherag (minister or, literally, light bearer) Bahar Watkins will lead an interactive service with chants and readings on the theme of Light honoring the essential truth expressed in eight major world traditions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Divine Feminine, Indigenous Peoples, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Together, we will pay homage to all people and paths leading to the unfoldment of the light and power latent in the human being.
