We have a number of vulnerable youths in our community who are unaccompanied minors from Central America, alone here without family or parents, and some local families are stepping forward to be their guardians until they are eighteen.
Our speaker has become one of those guardians, and she will share stories of her experience, and why guardianship can change lives. There will be an opportunity on Monday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. to ask our speaker further questions about this desperate need for young immigrants in our community. The UUCUC Choir will be singing for this service.
