Donate a gift to support the Holiday Elf Teen Gift Program between December 3-17.

The Holiday Elf Teen Gift initiative aims to provide local CU teens in need with an “elf” during the holiday season. The program specifically supports youth ages 13 to 19 as they are typically not included in community-organized gift giveaways. Help area teens experience the joy of the holidays!

Gifts can be brought to the church and placed on the wooden tree or bins inside the Sanctuary.
Need ideas of what to give?

  • Visit the Amazon Wish List for a general list of items that almost every teen can use
  • Other ideas: random size PJ’s (we will match the size to the teen), slippers, night lotion, robe; hoodies or t-shirts; skin care or hygiene items; make-up or nail polish; wall and shelf room decor; desk sets (cork boards, white boards) or pens/stationary supplies; coloring books, journals, markers, crayons, colored pencils; craft or art sets; socks, t-shirts, underwear; gloves, hats, coats.
  • Feel free to donate new, unopened/unused items that you already have at home. Things do not need to be newly purchased.
  • Purchase gift cards (for this program or your regular shopping) through this affinity site and a portion of your purchase will be given back to the Holiday Elf program for them to purchase additional gift cards.
  • Don’t have time to shop? You can make cash donations through Venmo to @theinvisiblebookkeeper or CashApp to @AngelinaBerg **Please note for Teen Elf**

This grass-roots program was started by Colleen Dorsla during COVID. Since 2020, Teen Elves has operated with the support of the generosity of our community. However, oftentimes, more teens register than elves and many are left to receive fewer gifts, if any. Our Giving Tree helps ensure more youth get served despite the financial hardships their families experience, especially during the holidays.
