Your Settled Minister Search Team has begun its work in earnest.  On Monday and Tuesday evenings (July 25th and 26th) we convened via Zoom with the Rev. Jami Yandle from the UUA for our Search Retreat.  We engaged in team-building exercises (classics like “Two Truths and a Lie” as well as a wonderful poetry writing task, about which more in a future bulletin) and worked out our team covenant.  The covenant is our promise to each other about how we will work together on this sacred task, and is the bedrock upon which all of our work this year will be based.

We are charged with finding our next settled minister, but it is a task that will require the involvement of everybody in the congregation.  In the coming months we will be reaching out to each and every one of you to discuss our church, its history, its present, and the future that we want to see for it.  Please make room in your lives for this vital work, and watch this space for updates!
