Give a gift of warmth. The annual Mitten Tree is always a fun way to donate mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves to keep people warm.  This year Team D will coordinate a “Remote Mitten Tree” December 1-19. Instead of collecting the gifts of warmth at the church only on one Sunday your donations can be dropped off in bins (or ring the bell) at Lynn Wiley’s home in Urbana (606 W. Washington St.) or Anne Sharpe’s home in Champaign (2209 Galen Dr.). 

Donations will be given to the Refugee Center (formerly the East Central Illinois Refugee Mutual Assistance Center–ECIRMAC).  Please donate new items and place them in a zipper bag. If we return to some in-person worship we will have a bin at the church as well.  The need is great and we will make several deliveries to the Refugee Center and not wait until December 20.
