We are down to the wire now! We are very interested in getting your ideas for organizations in alignment with our UU values to receive a shared offering in 2022. Please think about what outreach work is important to you, and what you would like our church to know more about. 

The nominated organization should be one that you are familiar with and support, but not one that you personally run or are employed with.  In order to spread around our donations, we do not select an organization two years in a row.  The following organizations are not eligible in 2022 because we supported them in 2021:

• Eastern Illinois Food Bank
• CU At Home
• Books To Prisoners
• Prairie Rivers Network
• Equal Justice Initiative
• Greater Community Aids Project
• First Followers
• Partner For People and Place (Jatrofa Projenou)
• Banks Bridgewater Lewis Fine Arts Academy
• DreAAm House
• MAIA Impact School (Guatemala)

The deadline for submitting a nomination is November 29.  You can find an electronic nomination form at this link.

On Sunday, December 5 at 1 p.m. we will have a Zoom meeting to select the organizations we will support. There will be brief presentations by the nominators and all interested members and friends are invited to attend and vote!
