As we approach the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, there will be a complicated spectrum of emotions arising in relation to that day, especially in the face of what is happening in Afghanistan right now.

If you would appreciate some space to hold all those feelings alongside members of your UUCUC community, please join Rev. Sally on Saturday 9/11 for a sunrise walk at Meadowbrook Park.

We’ll gather near the Playground parking lot starting at 6am, and have an opportunity as we arrive to briefly share memories, prayers, and some guided meditation around grief and remembrance. The walk will begin at 6:20am, and will take about 25 minutes (see map for walking route).
