Have you had conversations with your loved ones about your preferences at the end of your life?
Join our local Compassion & Choices Action team (heavily represented with UU folks) as we discuss Diane Rehm’s movie “When My Time Comes.” This movie is a compassionate, thoughtful discussion about facing death and helping our loved ones know our own preferences. This film also includes information about medical aid in dying, which is currently legal in 10 states and Washington, DC.
The movie is available for free on PBS Passport. Our plan is for everyone to watch the movie ahead of time and then join our discussion, to be held via Zoom, at 7pm on Tuesday, July 13. Please let me (Jim Hannum) know if you are interested in attending so that you can get the Zoom link information. Also, if you don’t have access to PBS Passport, let me know so we can arrange an alternative way to view the film.
