If you are with a group: please let us know if you are willing to co-sponsor (this means affiliating your name, and promoting to your people).
DETAILS: This is a COVID-safe car rally in support of counting every vote and staying involved in election defense until the president-elect is inaugurated. And then… continuing to advocate for racial justice through the next four years. Whether or not you can come, tune into WRFU 104.5FM for the soundtrack!
Decorate your cars with (non-partisan) racial justice and election defense messaging (we invite you to include #endwhitesilence in recognition that white people need to speak up what is happening).
We will start at parking lot E-14 (Next to the State Farm Center at the corner of Kirby & 1st street). ROUTE TBD: we will start at lot E-14 by State Farm Center, and end at Lincoln Square Mall.
PLAN:
12:15/30- arrive early to decorate your car, We encourage you to bring your own materials (car paint, posters, markers, etc.), but we’ll have some too.1:00- begin the route, while tuning into 104.5 FM (WRFU) for some uplifting music and poetry!~1:45- end the route at the Lincoln Square Mall parking lot. We invite you to stay for some chalking in the lot, if you want to continue spreading the word about protecting this election!
