Nick Pettey
Nick began attending UUCUC shortly after moving to Urbana in 2021 and joined as a new member a few months later. He spent his formative years in small towns across northern Illinois before spending a dozen years in Columbus, Ohio, and then four in Chicago. Nick’s previous stops have included stints as a college English instructor and attorney, though you can now find him a homemaker and caregiver for a bustling house of three humans, three cats, one dog, and flora of all sorts. He enjoys reading, trying out new recipes in the kitchen with his spouse, Cheri, and has recently started learning piano.
Nick is excited to be a part of the UUCUC community and looks forward to serving on the Board!
