The Gesundheit Institute are looking for housing for out-of-state/out-of-country participants in the [Re-Writing/Re-Righting] Cassandra project, starting Sept. 16, ending Dec. 7 2019. Might you have a spare bedroom to offer, for free, to one of these participants? Access to a kitchen for preparing meals would also be welcome. The [Re-Writing/Re-Righting] Cassandra project is a climate change initiative organized by the local non-profit, School for Designing a Society. Thus initiative invites participants to focus and to respond—creatively and practically– to the United Nations Committee on Global Climate Change warning: “We have 12 years left to limit climate change catastrophe”. Participants are coming from all walks of life and different countries to dedicate their time, imagination, and soul to participate in this initiative—they’re not paid to attend, nor do they pay.
Please contact Susan Parenti if you have housing, or would like to know more. Susan can be reached via email at susanroseparenti@gmail.com or via phone at 217-344-1439.
