We have all lived through a tumultuous time in the last 18+ months. Come join Alice Englebretsen and Jenny Hunt, members of the UU Companion Ministry Team, in chatting about what our lives have been like, what the struggles/challenges have been, what are the lessons that have been learned, what are the griefs we have had to endure (mostly alone) and what are we looking forward to as we move out of this traumatic time. What we know is that we are a resilient people, but we also know that we do not get through these kinds of things totally alone. We make it through this together. So, let’s come together and share. Let’s continue to strengthen each other and give each other hope.
Our plan is to meet together in person, on the church’s south lawn on Saturday October 9 from 10:30 – 12:30. Our weather date for in person will be the following Saturday, October 16. We will also offer a virtual gathering on zoom on Saturday, October 23 at the same time, 10:30 –12:30. You may join us for either one or both. For the in person gathering please bring a chair with you and make sure you have a mask with you, depending on where we are in Champaign County numbers wise we may still need to mask. We shall see.
