At UUCUC, our goal is to nurture spiritual growth and to provide opportunities across the lifespan:
Whether it's through your own individual passion and action, participating in a one-time event, being part of a small group, sitting on the Social Action Committee, or contributing to our congregation's Social Justice Initiative — at UUCUC, there are many ways to help make a difference.
Come help us make the world a more just and peaceful place.

Unitarian Universalists are congregationalist. There are no governing bishops or elders. Becoming a member of this congregation is an opportunity to live out your democratic values. Membership brings with it the privilege of voting at congregational meetings, and the opportunity to serve as a lay leader in elected positions.
Becoming a congregant, though, is not just about democratic principles. Membership is also an internal and external expression of your own commitment and sense of belonging to this community, its values, its mission:
We hold Pathway to Membership classes throughout the year. Our next class is on October 1st from noon to 2 p.m. For information or to register for this class, check out this information page. If you would like to speak to our Membership Coordinator, Sherry Bolen, you can email her or call her at (217) 417-1148.
